I am a Visiting Fellow in Economics at the University of Essex. My research is in behavioural economics and applied microeconomics. I use a range of empirical methods, including field, laboratory and natural experiments to study economic decision-making.
A central theme of my work is analysing behaviour in naturalistic environments. My research includes emotions and economic decisions, competition avoidance in dating markets, supportive vs hostile crowds on football performance, and the Behavioural Economics of Music (BEM), a new research programme applying behavioural economics to challenges in the music industry.
